It rained the whole day, and somehow that did not thin the room out at all. Students, founders, and the people who hold the ecosystem together showed up anyway, because the point was never the weather.
The day ran long on purpose. Code & Cowork from 10 to 6, an AI workshop in the afternoon, and Demo Night to close it out. By evening the room was less about presentations and more about people showing each other what they had actually built.
And there was a lot to show. Weam, an open-source AI collaboration platform. Drafter AI, taking the grind out of legal documents. Visity, handling events with AI underneath. Horizon X, speeding up research. Verbix, doing call analytics for healthcare and insurance. Mentor Manthan, putting AI next to human mentoring instead of in place of it.
None of it was polished into a pitch. It was builders reacting to builders, which is the only feedback worth getting at this stage.
This was the start. Better is not built alone. It is built together.
